Other Name/s: Early Long-horn
ID Difficulty:  Red – difficult to identify – detailed examination required, often a Gen Det and/or specimen and quality photographs are required.
Confusion Species: Small Long-horn (Nemophora minimella)
ID pointers: Very long whitish antenna, three times the length of the forewing. Bronze or greenish metallic forewings.
Distribution:  (First record: 1918 at Willington )  –  Status unknown in Derbyshire due to insufficient data – Probably widespread throughout the county, but local. Difficult to see and identify as they tend to stay high up in the leaf canopy of Sallow Trees.
