Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Adelidae Other Name/s: Small-barred Long-horn ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Distinctive little moth and very attractively marked – Deep bronze-purple forewing with a bright yellow fascia edged in purple bands that are bordered either side in black. The Male’s antennae are twice the length of forewing.
Distribution:  (Last record: 22/02/2025 at Long Eaton )  -  Probably locally uncommon as few records with only 3 records prior to 2010 and four reports between 2016 – 2024
