ID Difficulty:  amber  – care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely – quality photographs required.
Confusion Species:  Eudonia truncicolella (Peppered Grey); Scoparia ambigualis (Common Grey)
Distribution:  (Last record: 7 September 2022 at No location )  –  One of several Scoparia species that are very difficult to identify. It closely resembles S.ambigualis and so closer examination maybe required in some cases. DaNES – 7 records prior to 2010 / 6 accepted records Chesterfield 1964, Ambergate 1996, Marehay 21/7/2012; 1/7/2020; 30/7/2020; 9/7/2022.
