Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Crambidae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: One of the plainer looking Scoparia species and very variable. A greyish-white forewing, speckled brownish grey. Generally two pale whitish cross-lines, with an X or an 8 shaped darker marking at two thirds.
Distribution:  Localised but well spread in the county and recorded in small numbers annually.
