ID Difficulty:  green  – easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A distinctive species that shows a noticeable blackish band of scale tufts at about a third distance from the head, bordered by a cross-line edged reddish and blackish. A narrow greyish forewing variably speckled with reddish-brown and whitish flecks.
