Confusion Species:  Acrobasis repandana (Beautiful Oak Knot-horn)
ID pointers: The adult resembles A. repandana, but rather redder and with more prominent scale tufts.
Distribution:  (Last record: 2007 at Rosliston Forest Centre, Swadlincote )  -  Only one record from DaNES – Rosliston Forest Centre, Swadlincote 27/7/2007. This is a poorly known species in the British Isles, it is scarce and localised in the south and south east of England. Records elsewhere need careful consideration as the adult resembles A repandana, some may refer to migrants.
