ID pointers: A blackish-brown forewing, with white mottling near base and towards the termen. Variable speckled yellowish brown and yellowish grey throughout. A conspicuous whitish dorsal blotch.
Distribution:  Current status unknown – very few records. Locally distributed across the British Isles.
