I ran my 20w actinic moth trap in my Melbourne garden overnight on 19th August 2025. Overcast with very light drizzle. – Results were as follows and in no particular order – Setaceous Hebrew Character (18), Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing (4), Lesser Yellow Underwing (4), Brimstone Moth (2), Willow Beauty (5), Common Wainscot (8), Box Tree Moth (5), Centre-barred Sallow (4), Large Yellow Underwing (12), Vine’s Rustic (15), Square-spot Rustic (30, Pale Mottled Willow (13), Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing (1), Treble-bar (1); Shuttle-shaped Dart (5), Spruce Carpet (1), White-point (1), Heart & Dart (1), Uncertain agg (1), Flame Shoulder (1), Yellow Shell (1), Canary Shouldered Thorn (1), Pebble Hook-tip (1), Orange Swift ( 1 male), Turnip Moth (1), Flounced Rustic (2), Epiphyas postvittana (Light Brown Apple Moth) (3); Notocelia uddmanniana (Bramble Shoot Moth) (2),Yponomeuta rorrella (Willow Ermine) (1), Plutella xylostella (Diamond-back Moth) (2), Celypha lacunana (Common Marble), Acleris variegana (Garden Rose Tortrix) (1), Neocochylis hybridella (White-fronted Straw) (1), Agriphila tristella (Common Grass Moth) (1), Catoptria falsella (Chequered Grass Moth) (1), Gelechiid species (1). 36/126.
