ID Difficulty:  amber  – care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely – quality photographs required.
ID pointers: An attractively marked moth with a purple brown forewing with two yellow/white dorsal spots and a variable number of smaller costal markings and an indeffinate number of smaller spots.
Distribution:  (Last record: 1962 at Littleover )  –  A rare species with only two records from Littleover in 1960 & 1962 since 1916-1954 – Likely to be found where there are Raspberries as it can be a pest due to the damage it can cause to the plants.
