ID pointers: Forewing yellowish-brown, with scattered light greyish-brown scales and a broad white streak along the costa.
Distribution:  (First record: 2015 )  –  (Last record: 15 June 2015 at Buxton )  –  Uncertain – Should be common on Gorse, but only appears to be one modern day record from Buxton.
Flight Period: May /  June /  July /  –  On the wing during May – July Mine Period: September /  October /  November /   – The larvae feed on Ulex (Gorse) Initially the larva feeds on seeds by boring into seedpods. It makes a case from the green or leafy outside part of a flower consisting of sepals which is covered in hairs, this takes place during late summer. It continues feeding by boring into more seedpods. In November it makes a case from silk in which it over winters.
