ID Difficulty:  amber  – care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely – quality photographs required.
ID pointers: The forewings are dark brown with a coppery gloss, with variable white markings forming two slight cross-bands and small spots towards the wing apex. The cilia are tipped white
Distribution:  (First record: 2 July 2019 at Belper )  –  (Last record: 16 July 2019 at Kings Newton )  –  Uncertain – First VC record was 2/7/2019 from Belper (Philip Precey), followed by another from Kings Newton on 16/7/2019 (Will Soar).
