Blue -  Generally Common / Widespread   
Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Geometridae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: An unmistakeable moth. Bright yellow with a strong coppery brown central cross-band on the forewing and large creamy blotches at the wing tip.
Distribution:  A resident species that is not common but widely distributed throughout Derbyshire. Found mainly in southern and eastern areas of the county. Rather scarce in the north.
