Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Geometridae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Quite distinctive with a chalky white ground colour, blue grey border to the trailing edge of the wing, a central brown patch on the trailing edge of the forewing and a brown basal area.
Distribution:  (Last record: 23/08/2024 at Long Clough )  -  Last recorded 2024. A resident species that is very uncommon and has a local distribution in Derbyshire. Most records come from the south and central region of the county. Current status uncertain – Only a few VC57 records of this species each year.
