Blue -  Generally Common / Widespread   
Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Geometridae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A small cream coloured moth with a small distinctive black spot in the central fore and hind wing.  A broad darker outer cross band that is very wavy with a whitish thinner cross line running alongside its outer edge. The markings can be very variable in strength and colour, as in the form fimbriolata.
Distribution:  Resident in Derbyshire, locally common and widely distributed. Most common at a few localities in the south and east of the county.
