Confusion Species:  Common White Wave, Common Wave, Grass Rivulet:
ID pointers: The small size, pure white ground colour, a silky sheen to the forewings and contrasting brown wavy cross-lines are diagnostic.
Distribution:  (Last record: 17 June 2017 )  –  An uncommon and locally distributed species in Derbyshire. Favours hazel scrub growing on the sides of limestone dales.
