Distribution:  (Last record: 1980 )  -  Status in Derbyshire is uncertain – Either a very rare migrant or a possible rare resident. This moth has very much a fluctuating discontinuous distribution in England. Populations can vary widely from year to year and they can be affected by immigration. The 1980 record was part of several accounts in the midlands area at the time, so possibly indicating an arrival of migrants.
