Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Noctuidae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Broad wings, slightly pointed and a fairly thick set in the body. Three dark cross-lines are diagnostic. Ground colour can be orange-brown as in this specimen or a milky greyish-brown.
Distribution:  (Last record: 15/06/2024 at Belper )  -  Latest record June 2024 – A resident that appears to be locally distributed and generally uncommon in Derbyshire.
