Confusion Species:  Slender Pug, Haworth’s Pug, Valerian Pug
ID pointers: A pale and nondescript species. Inconspicuously marked without any distinct darker or paler spots.
Distribution:  Thought to be extinct in the county. Food plant is Common Cow Wheat so a lack of this maybe the reason why the species is absent from Derbyshire. Last recorded in the latter half of the 19th century.
