Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Geometridae ID Difficulty:  Red - difficult to identify - detailed examination required, often a Gen Det and/or specimen and quality photographs are required.
ID pointers: The best way is to identify by genitalia examination. Forewing usually banded strongly with a prominent heavy dark V-mark in centre where the vein forks.
Distribution:  A resident that is locally distributed and relatively uncommon. Probably due to the group of Epirritas being difficult to identify
