Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Geometridae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A large moth with distinctly deep reddish-brown and pointed forewing. Cross-bands edged with white and a whitish zig-zag line across outer edge.
Distribution:  (Last record: 08/10/2021 at Belper )  -  A resident species, that is scarce but widely distributed across the south of the county. Never been regarded as a common moth in Derbyshire.
