Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Tortricidae ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
Confusion Species:  A. paleana
ID pointers: Forewing greyish-brown to reddish-brown, sometimes paler. Unmarked or occasionally with dark-brown or reddish-brown markings.
Distribution:  (Last record: 19/06/2021 at Ashover )  -  Very few records only two modern day – In 1988 reported as common on the moorlands.
