Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Pterophoridae Other Name/s: Wood-sage Plume, Capperia britanniodactyla ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Forewing cleft into lobes. Dark brownish colour with two angled white lines most obvious in the costal lobe. The hind-wing has an obvious dark blackish mark towards the tip.
Distribution:  (Last record: 12/06/2020 at Findern )  -  Only 1 record since 1928-29 would indicate this species is either under-recorded or uncommon-rare in the county on Wood Sage. Generally only seen from dusk onwards.
