Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Gelechiidae Other Name/s: Common Groundling ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
ID pointers: Forewing greyish brown, mottled with dark grey-brown and noticeable small black patches that are bordered by raised whitish scale-tufts.
Distribution:  Appears to be widespread with most records from the southern half of the county. Presumably under-recorded but common in Derbyshire on Hawthorn and Blackthorn.
