ID Difficulty:  amber  – care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely – quality photographs required.
Confusion Species:  Similar to other Agonopterix sp.
ID pointers: A pale sandy brown forewing with a single large blackish spot in the centre of each wing. A scattering of small dark brown flecks and spots randomly over the forewing. A string of spots along the termen.
Distribution:  A fairly widespread but localised species in the county where there is Broom.
