STATUS – A resident that is very common and widely distributed in Derbyshire. Recorded from all areas of the county.
ID POINTERS – A very prominent black or brown streak that runs down the full length of the forewing, fanning out towards the outer wing edge. White veins are highlighted across a straw yellow ground colour and a smoky grey hindwing. A small black spot in the central area of the forewing. A fairly distinctive moth.
