Blue -  Generally Common / Widespread   
Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Geometridae ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
ID pointers: A small dark sandy-grey moth with the wings covered in a dusting of fine spots and flecks of darker grey. Central dark spots on the fore & hind wings and also a fine wavy line of spots or dashes along outer edge. Can look a little pug like at times.
Distribution:  Resident in Derbyshire and appears to be wide spread and generally common throughout the county.
