Green -  Rare / Uncommon / Scarce
Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Geometridae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: The moth gets its name from the reddish blush that is sometimes present in the central area of the forewing. The forewing is covered in small spot like freckles and lacks  any circular spots in the centre of the fore and hind wings. The combination of these two features help to eliminate other mochas. The red cross line is obvious and runs through both fore and hind wings.
