Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Drepanidae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: An orangey brown coloured moth with  a dark brown central cross-band on the forewing. There is also a dark brown, very faint, spot in the central area of the cross-band.
Distribution:  (First record: 1996 )  -  (Last record: 29/08/2024 at Glossop )  -  Last recorded in 2023 from four sites – First recorded in Derbyshire in 1996.  Now a  resident and becoming more widespread, but scarce and local in populations. Usually recorded as singles at light primarily from the south and central areas of the county.
