I ran my 20 actinic moth trap from my garden in Melbourne, Derbyshire overnight. Results are, in no particular order, as follows – Star moth was a Small Marbled (5th record for Derbyshire, (with another trapped in Belper this am); Varied Coronet; Silver Y (2); Epiphyas Postvittana (Light Brown Apple Moth); Plutella xylostella (Diamond-back Moth) (3); Large Yellow Underwing (2); Light Emerald (3); Heart and Dart (9); Aphomia sociella (Bee Moth) (2); Willow Beauty (3); Flame Shoulder; Shuttle-shaped Dart; Turnip Moth (3); Marbled Minor agg (4); Setaceous Hebrew Character (2); Cinnabar; Vine’s Rustic; Dark Arches; Waved Umber; Common Marbled Carpet; Rustic Shoulder-knot; Common Wainscot (2); Scoparia ambigualis (Common Grey); Ephestia woodiella (Blushed Knot-horn); Teleiodes vulgella (Black-spotted Grey): 46/24
