Moth Trap 28th-29th June 2026

I ran my 20W actinic light from my garden in Melbourne overnight on 28th June 2026. Results are as follows in no particular order – Riband Wave (12); Swallow-tailed Moth (2); Large Yellow Underwing (1); Pine Hawk-moth (1); Elephant Hawk-moth (1); Least Carpet (1); Dusky Sallow (1); Common Footman (7); Scalloped Oak (2); Uncertain-Rustic agg (12); Yponomeuta evonymella (Bird-cherry Ermine) (1); Heart and Dart (1); Dark Arches (1); Buff Ermine (1); Crambus pascuella (5); Chinese Character (1); Chrysoteuchia culmella (Garden Grass Veneer) (1); Small Emerald (1);  Hypsopygia costalis (Gold Triangle) (1); Eudonia mercurella (Garden Grey)(1); Celypha striana (Barred Marble) (1); Willow Beauty (1); Marble Minor agg (1); Mottled Rustic (1); Anania coronata (Elder Pearl); Yponomeuta aggregate group (2). Oegoconia agg – likely to be quadripuncta – Four-spotted Yellowneck (1).
