Other Name/s: Willow Marble
ID Difficulty:  amber  – care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely – quality photographs required.
Confusion Species:  Apotomis semifasciana (Short-barred Marble); Apotomis turbidana (White-shouldered Marble)
ID pointers: Has a narrow forewing with a white ground colour and a dark brown suffusion along the dorsum. A broad greyish cream, white mid-wing cross-band with a projection that protrudes into another dark-brown cross-band in the apical third area of the forewing.
Distribution:  (First record: 1981 at Repton )  –  (Last record: 29 June 2025 at Chaddesden )  –  DaNES – only three records two from 1981 – Ilkeston 1/8/1981 & Repton 4/8/1981. and the laest from Chaddesden 29/6/2025.
