ID Difficulty:  amber  – care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely – quality photographs required.
Confusion Species:  Rosy Straw (Cochylis roseana)
ID pointers: A pink flush to the forewing which is variable in intensity. A central and diagonal dark contrasting cross-band and lacks the dark band in the cilia as C.roseana.
