Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Tortricidae Other Name/s: White-bodied Conch, Cochylis hybridella ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
Confusion Species:  Cochylichroa atricapitana , Neocochylis dubitana, Neocochylis molliculana
ID pointers: Head, palps and thorax whitish. A whitish forewing with brownish and grey suffusion. A mix of dark grey and reddish brown oblique cross-band. A reddish or reddish-brown mark at the apex.

Distribution:  (First record: 02/08/2024 at Cromford )  -  (Last record: 07/08/2024 at Staveley )  -  First record for VC57 and Derbyshire, appears to be 2nd August 2024 one to mv Cromford (Clive Ashton) followed by another in 2024 – to mv on 7th August – Staveley.
