Other Name/s: Brassy Tortrix
ID Difficulty:  green  – easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Variable markings on a pale yellowish forewing overlaid with orange-brown to reddish-brown, especially around the wing base area, mid-wing and towards the termen.
Distribution:  (Last record: 6 January 2019 at Blacka Moor )  –  Despite Harrison & Sterling stating the species was common throughout the county away from the high moorlands, very few records since. 14 listed by DaNES 1991-2013 and 3 listed on iRecord with latest 1/6/2019 from Blacka Moor.
