ID Difficulty:  green  – easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A highly distinctive little moth with a characteristic pattern featuring a dark fuscous-brown to black ground colour contrasted by a broad irregularly margined white cross-band at one half across the middle of the forewing.
