ID Difficulty:  green  – easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Identified by the obvious black spot in mid-wing towards the dorsum. A short-winged moth with a greyish-white forewing with black dots.
Distribution:  (Last record: 5 September 2019 at Dronfield Woodhouse )  –  Significant record – One from Whitwell Woods 23/8/2003: 19 records from one site at Dronfield Woodhouse between 25/7/2010 – 5/9/2019.
