ID Difficulty:  amber  – care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely – quality photographs required.
ID pointers: A fairly long-wing species. Forewing greyish brown or greyish, variably spotted blackish and whitish. There are three obliquely place raised black spots, sometimes joined into a cross-line.
Distribution:  (Last record: 22 August 2025 at Glossop )  –  Less than 10 reported records records since 1984. Latest from Cromford 29/6/2024. On Sheep’s Sorrel and from Glossop 22/8/2025
