Taxonomy:   Macro   >>  Geometridae  >> Larentiinae
ID Difficulty:  green  – easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A fairly unmistakable pug species that is attractively marked with black and white lines, appearing like a net over the pale grey upper-wing surfaces.
Distribution:  (Last record: 30 June 2019 at Dronfield Woodhouse )  –  Uncommon and very locally distributed in small populations. During period 2011 – 2019 only six reported records, one 12/7/2011 Dronfield Woodhouse; one on 6th July 2013 from Darley Dale, one from Dronfield Woodhouse 26/6/2025; one from Shirland on 7th June 2016 and one from Long Eaton on 22nd June 2016, one on two dates Dronfield Woodhouse 29th & 30th June 2019.
