ID pointers: Unmistakeable. Forewings are translucent with a pearlescent hue and two wavy cross-lines and a discal spot and a dark smudging in each forewing.
Distribution: Widely distributed and locally common. Principal strongholds are in the Peak District, particularly the Limestone areas.
Flight Period: June / July / August / - On the wing June – August
Moth Activity: Nocturnal
