Confusion Species:  Lunar Marbled Brown
ID pointers: Quite variable from whitish to grey, with rather blurred cross-lines and bands on forewings.Very similar to Lunar Marbled Brown.
Distribution:  (Last record: 2021 (iRecord) at Hathersage )  -  A resident that is rare and locally distributed in Derbyshire. The few records of this species that exist suggests it is confined to remnants of old ancient woodland in the south of the county. One recent record on iRecord from June 2021.
