Poplar Kitten – Notodontidae – Cerurinae- Furcula bifida – colour code •
STATUS – A resident that is scarce and locally distributed in Derbyshire, being confined to the south of the county.
ID POINTERS – Similar in appearance to Sallow Kitten, this species is slightly larger and the outer edge of the grey cross-band on the forewing is more smoothly curved with a prominent dark edge
