Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Geometridae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A delicately marked carpet moth, the only species with a cold grey and quite pointed forewing. Intricately marked with fine cross-lines and bands and a pair of small central black spots on each forewing.
Distribution:  (Last record: 2024 at Cromford )  -  A resident species, restricted to Mountain Limestone where it is fairly common at low density.
