ID pointers: The antenna are only slightly longer than the forewing and the smallest of the British Adelinae. Brownish, slightly tinged purple with an obvious pale yellowish-white spot in the mid-forewing.

Distribution: Possibly overlooked – Local – most records come from the Limestone areas in the county.

Flight Period: May / June / - On the wing during the day in late May – June feeding on the foodplant – Speedwells, especially Germander Speedwell.
