Taxonomy:   Macro  >>  Lasiocampidae ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Relatively dull brown in colour with an obvious contrasting darker cross band through the forewing.
Distribution:  (Last record: 1977 at Matlock )  -  Very rare and very locally distributed moth across the county. It is restricted to the Trent Valley from where it is occasionally recorded.Very few, if any recent records.
