ID pointers: Variable – A greyish-creamy or sandy-brown ground colour to the forewing. A fine pale longitudinal streak with usually a small triangular shaped mark in central area. Fine darker lines and a faint cross-line.
Distribution: A locally distributed species in drier grassy places across the county.
Flight Period: July / August / September / - On the wing during July – September.
Moth Activity: Nocturnal - but can be disturbed during the day
