ID pointers: A large grass moth with a pale sandy brown to dark-brown forewing with a pale creamy yellow longitudinal streak running through centre and branching out into “finger-veins” at the wing tip.
Distribution: A common and widely distributed species in grassy places across the county.
Flight Period: June / July / August / September / - On the wing during June – September.
Moth Activity: Nocturnal - and is attracted to light
