ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: A small moth with blackish ground colour and creamy spots and cross-lines, this is quite a distinctive species.
Distribution:  (Last record: 1984 at Dovedale )  -  Only one record (DaNES) from Dovedale 15/6/1984 and Harrison & Sterling prior to 1905 – Doubts exist that this species occurs in Derbyshire.
