ID Difficulty:  green  - easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Relatively unmistakable, being very large and heavy in appearance
Distribution:  (Last record: 08/07/1976 at Ilkeston )  -  Last recorded – July 1976 – A resident species that appears to be quite rare, possibly on the verge of being extinct, in Derbyshire. There are very few modern day records. Currently two records under review, due to insufficient supporting evidence, one from 6/7/2013 & one from 20/10/2020.
