ID Difficulty:  green  – easy to identify, generally distinctive and unlikely to be confused with other species.
ID pointers: Forewing can be yellowish-brown, greyish-brown or dark-brown with a white or cream semicircular cross-band forming a horseshoe mark on the closed wing. 
Distribution:  Widely distributed across the county, where there is good growth of Vetches. Locally common.
