Taxonomy:   Micro  >>  Tortricidae ID Difficulty:  amber  - care required in the identification process, as confusion with similar species is likely - quality photographs required.
ID pointers: A very variable species but rests with a distinctive crease in the wing. Forewing usually brown or blackish brown, with pale or darker brown cross-bands.
Distribution:  (Last record: 11/08/2024 at Cromford )  -  Uncommon and local in the county, likely to be more common on the moors on Bilberry. Locally uncommon in the south on Holly and other trees and shrubs.
